Deutschlandsberg brings Schilcher and Sauvignon Blanc into the western Styrian village-wine landscape.
Blauer Wildbacher.
Fresh berry flavours and lively acidity, with a range of colour and body across the area.
Deutschlandsberg’s village-wine origin includes different vineyard settings, with crystalline soils in the north and more sandy or gravelly sites elsewhere. Blauer Wildbacher, made as Schilcher rosé, and Sauvignon Blanc are its leading varieties. Explore the vineyard and producer to compare brighter, taut expressions with rounder wines. The town name is also used geographically, so the full DAC label remains useful.
