Golfo dei Poeti is a historical label name for eastern Liguria’s wine country around La Spezia.
Golfo dei Poeti and Golfo dei Poeti La Spezia were alternative names for the same IGT, renamed Liguria di Levante in 2011. Older bottles and references can therefore preserve this poetic wording. Use the producer, vintage and wine type to explore such a label; the historical name does not identify a second current protected origin beside Liguria di Levante.
