Campi Flegrei brings Falanghina and Piedirosso to the volcanic vineyard landscapes west of Naples.
Citrus, orchard fruit and flowers with a fresh, dry finish.
Cherry, red berries and herbal notes with freshness and gentle tannins.
Campi Flegrei DOC offers whites, reds and rosés, with Falanghina and Piedirosso providing two particularly useful local introductions. Volcanic materials and maritime exposure form part of the landscape, while individual sites differ in elevation and shelter. The denomination’s name refers to a growing area, not a rule that every wine tastes smoky. Read grape and wine type to distinguish an aromatic white from the lighter red-fruit character of Piedirosso.
