Citrus, apple and floral notes with bright acidity; sweetness depends on the wine.
Pear, apple and citrus with gentle texture and a fresh finish.
Naches Heights AVA has a different geological and elevation story from many lower Columbia Valley sites. Its vineyards include Riesling, Pinot Gris and Gewürztraminer, with Syrah also documented. The smaller origin provides a focused way to explore the area, but a high site alone does not determine a wine’s flavour or sweetness. Read the variety, vineyard and producer’s approach alongside the AVA name.
