McMinnville’s foothill vineyards offer structured Pinot Noir and fresh white wines on the western Willamette landscape.
Cherry, dark berries and earthy spice with fresh acidity and a firm, savoury structure.
Citrus, apple and a dry, fresh or more layered palate.
Pear and orchard fruit with a dry, refreshing finish.
The McMinnville AVA is a vineyard origin distinct from the town’s broader winery and restaurant scene. Marine-sedimentary soils and exposures to coastal air contribute to varied growing conditions. Pinot Noir is a signature choice, with Chardonnay and Pinot Gris providing white alternatives. A tasting-room address in town does not establish the origin of every wine.
