Cornwall is a geographical county name, with vineyards benefiting from suitable local shelter and exposure within a maritime climate. It is distinct from the much smaller Darnibole PDO at Camel Valley. Bacchus and sparkling wines give useful starting points, while grape sourcing and producer approach vary. Read the actual protected origin and vineyard statement to find the place behind a bottle rather than assuming a Cornish cellar address describes all of its fruit.
