Trebbiano Spoletino
Spoleto gives Trebbiano Spoletino a focused Umbrian home, from textured still whites to sparkling and passito expressions.
Citrus, apple, flowers and herbal detail with freshness and a layered, dry palate.
Citrus, apple and floral notes with fresh bubbles; sweetness varies by bottle.
Dried fruit, citrus peel and honeyed notes with concentrated texture; check the bottle for sweetness.
Spoleto DOC centres on Trebbiano Spoletino, a distinct local grape rather than simply another name for Trebbiano Toscano. Still, riserva, sparkling and passito types give different ways to explore it. The protected production area extends beyond Spoleto’s town boundary. Compare the stated wine type and producer’s methods, particularly lees contact, skin contact and ageing where declared, to understand the texture and aromatic range of the individual wine.
