About Golfo dei poeti La Spezia IGT

Where it grows: Eastern Liguria in the province of La Spezia, in the historical Golfo dei Poeti IGT landscape.

This is the longer historical alternative to Golfo dei Poeti, not a separate vineyard area. The designation changed to Liguria di Levante in 2011. When exploring an older bottle, the vintage and producer explain which white, red, rosé or other expression it represents. Read the old name as part of the region’s label history rather than a different modern appellation.
