Zagarolo offers a local white-wine discovery in the hills east of Rome.
Malvasia Bianca di Candia, Malvasia del Lazio, Trebbiano Toscano.
Gentle floral and orchard-fruit notes with a fresh finish.
Zagarolo DOC draws on Malvasia and Trebbiano varieties, with Bellone and Bombino Bianco as possible partners. Its production zone is distinct from nearby Frascati and Montecompatri-Colonna. The shared grape families do not make these origins identical. Compare the complete wine type and producer for differences in fruit, dryness and texture.
