BiancolellaForastera
Ischia reveals a distinctive island grape heritage, from Biancolella and Forastera whites to Piedirosso reds.
Citrus, peach and floral notes with a fresh, gently textured palate.
Apple, citrus and herbal notes with a dry, fresh finish.
Cherry, berries and savoury herbs with freshness and gentle tannins.
Ischia DOC offers blends and grape-specific wines rooted in the island’s vineyard landscape. Biancolella and Forastera provide white-wine discoveries, while Piedirosso is also known locally through the Per ’e Palummo name. Hillside exposure and producer approach give different interpretations. The DOC is separate from Epomeo IGT, another island origin with its own rules.
