Cilento brings Campania’s southern coastal and inland landscapes into focus through Fiano whites and Aglianico-led reds.
Fiano.
Pear, citrus and herbal notes with freshness and a gently textured palate.
Aglianico leads, with permitted supporting red grapes varying by wine.
Dark cherry, plum and spice with a dry palate and firm tannins.
Cilento DOC offers different colours and grape-led expressions. Fiano is important to its white identity, while Aglianico leads the principal red tradition with permitted supporting grapes. Sites range from more coastal settings towards inland hills, so the broad landscape is not one uniform terroir. The denomination also differs from Paestum IGT, which shares parts of the wider area under its own rules. Follow the exact label and vineyard for a closer view.
