Rapsani brings three local red grapes together on the lower slopes of Mount Olympus.
Xinomavro, Krassato, Stavroto.
Red and dark fruit, dried herbs and savoury spice with fresh acidity and structured tannins.
Rapsani PDO is a dry red wine combining Xinomavro, Krassato and Stavroto. The blend gives it a different identity from single-variety Naoussa or Amynteo wines. Elevation and vineyard exposure vary within the zone. Nearby wines under other geographical indications follow different rules, so the mountain setting alone does not establish a Rapsani origin.
