Kiedrich gives Riesling a distinctive hillside home in the Rheingau, with famous sites above a sheltered village valley.
Citrus, peach and floral notes with bright acidity and a layered palate; sweetness varies.
Kiedrich’s vineyards include Gräfenberg, a documented Riesling site on phyllite-based ground with some loess-loam. Other sites and exposures bring additional variation, so the village is broader than its best-known vineyard. Dry wines and sweet Rieslings can come from this landscape. A VDP site classification does not by itself tell you that the wine is dry; the wine designation and sweetness provide that detail. Follow the full label for the particular vineyard expression.
