Pacherenc du Vic-Bilh Sec offers a fresh, dry white counterpoint to the region’s Tannat reds and sweet Manseng wines.
Gros Manseng, Petit Manseng, Petit Courbu.
Citrus, orchard fruit and herbal notes with bright acidity and a dry, textured palate.
Sec is the dry expression within Pacherenc du Vic-Bilh AOP, sharing the appellation’s geography while following the appropriate dry-wine requirements. Gros Manseng, Petit Manseng and Courbu-family grapes offer different balances of aroma, acidity and texture. It is a useful label distinction when exploring wines from the same producer. Dry does not necessarily mean light: lees and ageing choices can add breadth and substance.
