Entraygues–Le Fel offers a small river-valley wine discovery, with Fer-led reds and Chenin-led whites from steep vineyard country.
Fer Servadou, Cabernet Franc.
Red and dark berries with herbs, fresh acidity and a dry, gently grippy finish.
Chenin leads, with permitted supporting grapes such as Mauzac.
Apple, citrus and floral notes with freshness and a textured palate.
Entraygues–Le Fel AOP joins contrasting schist and granitic settings in a compact valley landscape. Fer Servadou is central to the reds and rosés, while Chenin leads the whites with permitted supporting grapes. The two colour families therefore offer quite different introductions to the same origin. Valley shelter and hillside exposure vary by site.
