Vermentino.
Citrus and orchard fruit with floral or savoury nuances; a representative local white route.
Niellucciu, Sciaccarellu.
A representative pairing of structure and fragrance, with the balance of grapes differing between producers.
Corse, also encountered as Vin de Corse, is a protected designation rather than a catch-all name for every island wine. It includes named areas such as Calvi, Sartène and Figari. Niellucciu, Sciaccarellu and Vermentinu are useful starting points, while Île de Beauté identifies a separate IGP. Follow the complete designation and blend to discover the island’s range.
