Koehler is a family-owned and operated winery, vineyard, and tasting room in Los Olivos, on the Foxen Canyon Wine Trail in Santa Barbara County. Its estate includes heritage Chardonnay planted in 1972, along with Viognier and Syrah from 1990, with Zaca Creek running through the old-vine blocks. The family follows organic farming principles focused on sustainability, biodiversity, and conservation, while also working with small, sustainable growers across the region. Winemaker and vineyard manager Trace Brueske leads a small-batch, terroir-driven approach using native fermentations and minimal intervention. The wines span Rhône, Bordeaux, Riesling, Chardonnay, and Loire-inspired varieties, aiming to express the character and diversity of Santa Barbara County.
