Producer

Weinhaus Steffen

Germany

Weinhaus Steffen is a family-owned Mosel producer based in Trittenheim, with roots reaching back to 1794 and the winery established by Johann and Peter Steffen in 1945. Today, Hans and Roman Steffen manage the estate and oversee winemaking. Working with steep river slopes in the Hunsrück and Central Mosel areas, the winery emphasises quality and sustainability, with grapes harvested by hand. Its traditional focus includes dry Pinot Noir and late-harvest Riesling, supported by modern analysis, climate-controlled cellars, and extensive storage.
