Vinos de Potrero is a Mendoza project founded by former footballer Nicolás Burdisso and managed by his wife, Belén Soler Valle, with Bernardo Bossi Bonilla also associated with the wines. Its Malbec comes from four neighboring farms in Gualtallary, Valle de Uco, where stony soils and an altitude of around 1,350 metres shape the fruit. The estate supplies all the Malbec and Cabernet Sauvignon used in its wines. Winemaking combines concrete vats and egg-shaped fermenters with cold maceration, indigenous yeasts and careful extraction, followed by ageing in used oak barrels. The resulting wines emphasize fresh, pure fruit, floral and mineral character, with depth, honesty and layered complexity.
