Villalta is a Veneto winery producing a portfolio that includes Valpolicella Ripasso Superiore from hand-picked Corvina and Rondinella grapes. Its Ripasso is made with careful cellar work: de-stemming, fermentation with extended skin contact, malolactic fermentation, and stainless-steel storage, followed by a second maceration on Amarone skins. The wine is then aged for 10–12 months in barriques, giving a structured expression of the style. Villalta’s Ripasso has received recognition from James Suckling and Wine Spectator.
