Tenuta San Giorgio is a Tuscan estate founded in 1982 and owned by the Tipa Bertarelli family as part of the Collemassari Group. Its approximately 61 hectares produce around 60,000 bottles annually, with winemaking overseen by Luca Marrone and the team also responsible for Poggio di Sotto and Grattamacco. The estate’s vineyards include 25 hectares of Sangiovese planted across varied Pliocene, clay, tuff, red-earth, biancane and calanchi soils. They are farmed organically at very low yields and certified organic (Eco-Control IT-BIO-006). The estate focuses on expressing diverse Tuscan terroirs through careful, low-yield viticulture and integrated estate winemaking.
