Tenuta del Cannavale is a small family winery and organic farm in Forio, on Ischia, founded in 2010 and run by siblings Gennaro and Anna Manna on family land. The terraced estate, surrounded by woodland and cultivated without road access, emphasizes biodiversity, green manure, biodynamic preparations, and manual vineyard work, with organic certification under CCPB. Grapes are hand harvested and fermented spontaneously, with winemaking in traditional Qvevri amphorae and no added chemical substances. The Manna siblings are described as custodians of an ancient Ischian farming tradition, while the estate also promotes environmental education and conservation of natural resources.
