Spain

Tentenublo is a fourth-generation family-owned producer in Rioja, run by Roberto Oliván with Leyre Ruiz. The estate farms around 16 hectares of vineyards in and around Viñaspre and Lanciego, on calcareous marl and sandstone soils. Across the notes, the farming is consistently described as organic, with some sources also citing biodynamic practices. In the cellar, Roberto works with indigenous yeasts, limited sulfur and a low-intervention approach, alongside traditional French oak aging. The range includes Rioja reds, a Viura and Malvasía white blend, and small single-vineyard bottlings, reflecting a focus on both regional and site-specific expression.
