Giacomo Borgogno & Figli is a historic Barolo estate in Piedmont, founded in 1761 by Bartolomeo Borgogno and later expanded by Cesare Borgogno. The winery remained in the Borgogno family until 2008, when it was acquired by the Farinetti family, founders of Eataly, who continue to manage it. Its vineyards lie across Barolo, Alba, and Monleale, with a strong focus on Nebbiolo. The estate is fully organic, earned organic certification in 2019, and follows a low-intervention approach with spontaneous fermentations in concrete tanks.
