Provenance Vineyards is a family-owned California winery based in Lodi, with a heritage dating to 1999 and a focus on Napa Valley wines of distinct origin. Allen and Tiana Lombardi acquired the brand in 2021, bringing it back under family ownership after periods with larger corporations. The winery sources fruit from vineyards including Rutherford, Calistoga, Howell Mountain, Oak Knoll, Star, and Sleeping Lady, supported by long-standing grower relationships. Head winemaker Noel Basso, with more than 20 years of California experience, follows a purist, vineyard-focused approach inspired by founding winemaker Tom Rinaldi. Minimal intervention, whole-berry fermentation, and oak aging aim to preserve grape character. The portfolio includes varietal wines and Bordeaux-style blends, alongside the Deadeye and Fortitude brands.
