Mora & Memo

Italy

Mora & Memo is a small, family-run winery in Serdiana, southeast Sardinia, centered on the Sa Perdera vineyard. Owned and operated by mother-and-daughter team Alicia and Lia Tolaini, the estate focuses exclusively on indigenous varieties, particularly Vermentino and Cannonau. Sensitive farming and minimal-intervention winemaking include short maceration, cool stainless-steel fermentation and lees aging. Sa Perdera’s stony, calcareous soils, Maestrale winds, abundant sunlight and proximity to the sea help shape wines marked by structure, balance, freshness and a subtle saline character. The winery’s work is inspired by Sardinia’s matriarchal roots and aims to express the island’s native grapes with purity and precision. No formal sustainability certifications are reported.
