Producer

Mount Horrocks

Australia

Mount Horrocks is a privately owned Clare Valley producer run by Stephanie Toole, who has owned the property since 1993. Based in Auburn, with a cellar door in the restored historic railway station, the estate is fully certified organic and biodynamic, with all vineyard sites chosen, owned and managed by the winery. Grapes are estate-grown, hand-picked and made without fining agents, so the wines are vegan and vegetarian. Stephanie Toole’s approach is described as classic, no-compromise and fully integrated in its organic and biodynamic farming, producing essentially hand-made single-vineyard wines with both structure and generous fruit flavour.
