Producer

Luigi Righetti

Italy

Luigi Righetti is a family-run estate in Valgatara, in Valpolicella Classico, founded in 1909 by Angelo Righetti. Today, fourth-generation brothers Gianmaria and Giuseppe operate the winery, with their father Luigi still involved in daily work. Luigi began making the wines in the 1940s and was the first in the family to market them beyond the local area. Since taking over winemaking in 1985, Gianmaria has focused on single-vineyard wines with an international style. The estate has grown beyond local demand while retaining its family ownership and hands-on continuity.
