Producer

Luciano Ercolino

Italy

Luciano Ercolino is the founder of Vinosìa, a family-run estate in Irpinia, Campania, established in 2004 and continuing a family lineage dating to 1887. Ercolino, previously a co-founder of Feudi di San Gregorio, is credited here with helping revive regional viticulture in the 1980s. The estate works vineyards in Irpinia, with additional plots in Salento managed with the Emera estate, across volcanic soils, steep slopes and chestnut-wood surroundings at 380–550 metres. Farming is certified organic and low-impact, with green manure, minimal chemical use and indigenous yeasts. The focus is led by Aglianico, alongside Fiano, Greco, Falanghina, Negroamaro and Primitivo.
