France

Founded in 1999, Château Louvie is a small Bordeaux estate owned and managed by Christian Veyry, who also serves as winemaker and consultant oenologist. The vineyard is farmed sustainably, and the wines are marketed as vegan. Planted primarily to Merlot with Cabernet Franc, the vines grow on siliceous soils and average around 35–40 years old. Veyry’s experience, including work with Michel Rolland, informs a focused approach to producing Bordeaux wines from this compact estate.
