Monastrell Organic

Honoro Vera is a Gil family wine project based in Murcia, with wines produced across several family wineries, including Bodegas Ateca and Bodega Juan Gil. The family’s Jumilla vineyards are dry-farmed without irrigation, certified organic and vegan, and harvested by hand. Ownership and management remain within the Gil lineage: Miguel and Angel Gil operate Bodegas Ateca, while descendants of founder Juan Gil Giménez run Bodega Juan Gil. The range includes Garnacha from Ateca and Monastrell and Rioja wines from Juan Gil. Australian winemaker Chris Ringland is linked to the group through Bodega Juan Gil.
