Höfling is a family-owned winery in Eußenheim, northwest of Würzburg in Franconia, where Klaus Höfling took over the family business in 2007. Its vineyards lie in steep sites along the Main and in the Werntal, including distinctive locations such as Kalbenstein Gambach, Homburg Gössenheim and Stein Stetten. The estate focuses on contemporary, origin-driven Franconian wines, notably Silvaner, Pinot Blanc and Spätburgunder, alongside Bacchus and Scheurebe. Premium cuvées receive selective hand harvesting, open-vat fermentation, manual cap management and extended lees ageing in locally made Spessart-oak barrels. All wines are vegan, using natural clarification, and the winery has received recognition including the Bayerischer Staatsehrenpreis.
