Producer

EHRHART

France

Ehrhart is a family-owned and operated Alsace producer based in Ammerschwihr, founded by Henri Ehrhart in the 1970s. The wider family has farmed in Alsace since 1725, and three generations remain involved, from vineyard work through bottling. Philippe and Corinne Ehrhart farm 25 hectares across 11 villages and four Grand Cru terroirs, with the next generation, Florian and Margot, now involved. The estate has been certified organic since 2010 and biodynamic since 2012. Wines are made through separate terroir vinification, gentle pressing, and fermentation without commercial yeasts; barrels are reserved for Pinot Noir.
