Domaine Félines Jourdan

France

Family-owned and independent since 1983, Domaine Félines Jourdan lies beside the Étang de Thau in Languedoc’s Picpoul de Pinet appellation. Claude Jourdan leads the estate and has overseen its winemaking for around thirty years, continuing a family tradition that includes her mother, Marie-Hélène, one of the region’s early women vigneronnes. The domaine farms three distinct terroirs using reasoned viticulture and HVE-certified sustainable practices, with particular care for the lagoon and surrounding bird sanctuary. Its wines are made exclusively from estate-grown grapes and bottled at the property. Claude’s style emphasizes fresh, lively, fruit-driven wines, made in temperature-controlled stainless-steel tanks, while the estate also explores more complex, age-worthy Picpoul expressions.
