Domaine de la Greffière

France

Château de la Greffière is a family-run estate in La Roche-Vineuse, southern Burgundy, owned and operated by the Greuzard family since 1924 and drawing on viticultural activity documented there since 1585. The domaine farms vineyards across eight villages, following sustainable, nature-focused practices and working with Chardonnay, Aligoté, Pinot Noir and Gamay under eight appellations. Its approach balances traditional vineyard work with modern techniques: manual Guyot pruning, seasonal observation and maturity-led harvesting, followed by careful sorting, pneumatic pressing, stainless-steel or oak fermentation and malolactic fermentation. The estate welcomes visitors through its museum, cellar, vineyard discovery path and harvest immersions, reflecting a strong commitment to sharing its wines and savoir-faire. It also supports cystic fibrosis charities through special cuvées and donations.
