Domaine Belema is a small-scale estate in Ayze, Haute-Savoie, owned and run by founder-winemaker Yann Pernuit. A biodynamic consultant, Pernuit farms organically and biodynamically, with organic certification, and also operates the domaine as a négoce purchasing organic fruit from nearby growers. The wines are made naturally and with minimal intervention, using local Savoy varieties including the indigenous white grape Gringet. They are unfined and unfiltered, with minimal sulfur, reflecting a transparent approach to the region and its fruit.
