Di Giovanna

Italy

Di Giovanna is a historic, family-run estate in Sicily’s Terre Sicane, managed by brothers Gunther and Klaus across Contessa Entellina and Sambuca di Sicilia. The family’s vineyards, including the historic Gerbino site, lie from the hills to the high slopes of Monte Genuardo Natural Reserve, on tufaceous, volcanic and calcareous soils. Farming has been certified organic since 1997, with a focus on biodiversity and respect for the territory. The estate produces and bottles all its wines on site, and they are certified organic and vegan. Its range highlights native Sicilian varieties such as Nero d’Avola, Nerello Mascalese, Grillo and Catarratto, alongside selected international grapes. The three collections—Gerbino, Vurria and the limited Helios wines—express the family’s commitment to both regional tradition and carefully crafted, age-worthy wines.
