Domaine Marcel Lapierre is a family-owned estate in Villié-Morgon, Beaujolais, founded in 1909. Now run by the third-generation siblings Mathieu and Camille Lapierre, it farms about 18 hectares of Gamay, including plots on the famed Côte du Py. A pioneer of natural winemaking, the domaine has practiced organic viticulture since the early 1980s, certified by Ecocert since 2004, and avoids synthetic chemicals. Wines are made with indigenous yeasts, minimal or zero sulfur, and no additives, and are typically bottled unfiltered. Production is limited and boutique in style, reflecting a philosophy focused on terroir expression and minimal intervention.
