Coster dels Olivers

Spain

Coster dels Olivers is a small, family-owned estate in Priorat, overseen by proprietor Eric Solomon and linked to the Sangenis family of Porrera. Its vineyards lie at 350–500 metres on schist soils, with vines aged 15–35 years. Farming is sustainable, certified organic and biodynamic, with vegan certification. Winemaking is led by Joan Sangenis and focuses on minimal intervention and terroir expression: grapes are hand-harvested, fermented in stainless steel and concrete, and matured in neutral French and Hungarian oak. The estate’s approach combines careful farming with restrained cellar work to express its Priorat origins.
