Forthright Winery

United States

Forthright Winery is a Napa Valley boutique producer founded by Patrick McEvoy and Rafer Caudill, who serve as proprietors and winemakers. Working with fruit from leading local growers, they craft limited-quantity wines with an emphasis on sustainable practices, handcrafted excellence, and elegant, honest expressions of variety and place. Their range includes Merlot, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Cabernet Sauvignon, while additional wines are made only in vintages that meet their high standards. Both founders developed their winemaking backgrounds through personal experience and formal enology and viticulture studies at Napa Valley College, bringing a deeply considered, hands-on approach to the wines.
