Château Pouyanne

Château Pouyanne is a family-owned estate in Budos, 40 km southeast of Bordeaux, on a Graves terroir of gravel, clay and sand. Its 55-hectare vineyard includes red plantings of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot, alongside white varieties Sauvignon and Sémillon. The estate describes its approach as reasoned cultivation, with attention to vineyard treatments, water and effluent management, measured fertilisation, biodiversity, selective sorting and recycling. The terroir produces supple, aromatic red wines intended to be enjoyed young, as well as fine, pleasantly fruity white wines.
