Château Monbrison is a family-owned estate in Margaux, Bordeaux, run by Laurent Vonderheyden, a direct descendant of the Davies family, with Grégory Brun as technical director and Éric Boissenot overseeing winemaking. The vineyards are planted mainly to Cabernet Sauvignon, with Merlot, Cabernet Franc and a small amount of Petit Verdot. Farming is conventional but largely hand-worked, with green-harvest crop thinning and no formal organic or sustainability certification reported. The estate bottles its full harvest, with fermentation in concrete, enamel-lined steel and stainless-steel tanks, followed by around 18 months in oak barriques before bottling unfiltered.
