Château Lacoste

France

Château Lacoste is a family-owned Bordeaux estate historically linked to the Borie family and now run by owner-winemaker Hervé Dubourdieu, who also oversees Château Ducasse and Château Roumieu-Lacoste. Its vineyards produce Graves Blanc, Les Fleurs de Graville and Sauternes. The estate is Haute Valeur Environnementale (HVE) certified and limits yields through green harvesting. Meticulous grape sorting and a commitment to paying harvesters double average wages reflect a careful, sustainability-minded approach to both vineyard work and winemaking.
