Founded in Beaune in 1865, Camille Giroud is a boutique Burgundian maison focused on small-batch négociant wines. The house owns only a tiny vineyard holding, with most fruit purchased from growers farming organically or sustainably, reflecting a careful sourcing approach rather than estate-scale production. After the Giroud family sold the business in 2001/2002, it was taken over by an American investor consortium led by Joe Wender and Ann Colgin. Winemaking was shaped by David Croix from 2001 to 2016 and is now led by Carel Voorhuis. The house emphasizes time, tradition, and a classic Beaune identity.
