Broglia is a family-owned estate in Gavi, Piedmont, acquired by Bruno Broglia in 1972 and now managed by the third generation. The family owns its vineyards, including parcels planted to Cortese, and the estate’s wines are made under the direction of Professor Donato Lanati. Vineyard work includes low-yield green harvesting, while temperature-controlled stainless-steel fermentation supports a precise, fresh style. Broglia also collaborates with the Universities of Torino and Milano on clonal selection and sulfur-free winemaking research. Its focus is particularly associated with Gavi DOCG and the expression of Piedmont’s Cortese grape.
