Angueiroun

France

Château Angueiroun is a Provence estate in Bormes-les-Mimosas, between the hills and the Mediterranean. Acquired and operated by Éric Dumon since 1998, it is farmed by his team with a focus on traditional Provençal varieties and Côtes de Provence wines. Certified Organic Agriculture and High Environmental Value since 2020, the domaine uses sheep for seasonal vineyard grazing, along with copper and sulfur treatments, while supporting biodiversity through citrus trees and olive trees. Its schist soils and maritime setting contribute to wines described as rich, elegant, and marked by saline freshness. Winemaking combines tradition with modern equipment, including stainless-steel tanks, oak barrels, and concrete egg-shaped vats for the Enkhelis range. A new cellar and visitor space opened in 2023, offering tastings and tours that explain the estate’s organic farming and cellar work.
