Prandi Giovanni

Italy

Prandi Giovanni is a small, family-run estate in Diano d’Alba, Piedmont, working from the family house and cellar. Founded by the Farinetti family in the 1920s, with Giovanni Prandi joining in the 1960s, it is now overseen by his son Alessandro. The winery produces wines exclusively from its own vineyards, mostly in Diano d’Alba and partly in Alba, using an artisanal, low-intervention approach. Viticulture follows lutte raisonnée principles, with organic grapes and wines marketed as sustainably farmed and vegan-processed, without cited formal certifications. Dolcetto is central to the estate’s identity, particularly from the sunny slopes of Sorì Cristina and Sorì Colombè, alongside Nebbiolo d’Alba, Barbera d’Alba, and Langhe Arneis.
