Bruna Grimaldi

Italy

Grimaldi Bruna is a family-owned estate in Serralunga d’Alba, in Piedmont’s Barolo zone, with a tasting room in Grinzane Cavour. Founded in 1957 by Giacomo Grimaldi, it passed to Bruna Grimaldi and Franco Fiorino and is now joined by the next generation, Martina and Simone. The estate has been organically certified since 2013, avoiding herbicides, pesticides and synthetic fertilizers while emphasizing biodiversity, natural pest control, manual vineyard work and renewable energy. Farming and winemaking are guided by respect for the Langhe and Barolo tradition, with low-intervention cellar work, very low sulfite use, gentle extraction and long macerations for Nebbiolo. The winery focuses on native grapes and Barolo from sites including Badarina, Bricco Ambrogio, Raviole, Borzone and San Lorenzo di Verduno.
