A Thousand Gods

Portugal

A Thousand Gods is a small, boutique wine label founded, owned, and made by Simon and Lauren. Drawing on a decade of experience in Cahors and more than 40 vintages across nine countries, they work with hand-picked grapes sourced from a biodynamic grower in Marlborough’s Waihopai Valley. The wines are made with wild fermentation and without additives, fining, or filtration, reflecting a hands-on, minimally interventionist approach. The label was launched after the founders returned to New Zealand.
