Pazo Cilleiro is a family-owned estate in the Ribera de Ulla sub-zone of Rías Baixas, Galicia, producing Albariño from selected small parcels in the Salnés Valley. Its vineyards lie on granitic, quartz-rich sandy soils and include old vines planted in 1945, maintained at low yields. Grapes are hand-picked and the wines are made with indigenous yeasts and a low-intervention approach, emphasizing freshness and quality. With over 30 years of winemaking experience and production below 2,000 cases annually, the estate remains small in scale. The family also preserves the property’s original stone house and a shrine for Camino de Santiago pilgrims.
